(c) Susan Elliott; Captain Jack
Captain Jack in oils. My husband says it looks like a medieval painting of Jesus! LOL! No excuses. I am a big fan of Captain Jack.
Captain Jack
Smoky fog, thick swirling mist
Smoldering exotic eyes are beckoningYet, fear is a paralyzing trap
Locking anxious willing feet to statuary.
Tiny arrows, pierce silken skin
Numbness, is an unwelcome fighting impulse
Still, the heart beats up high in the throat
His erotic eyes beckon, "Feel my embrace."
Outstretched arms, sword in hand
Silver pistola secured tight on a taut thigh
Long dreads, chestnut hair flying in the wind
Framing his angular rogue-ish visage.
Plump juicy lips, parting slightly
Breath billows out, wafting on icy air
Yet, its to far to hold, to catch it, to inhale it.
If only to breathe in, that breath which escaped him.
Distant eyes whispering, a name once familiar
Drawing short breaths, from rasping lungs
Still, standing still, helpless to never succumb to him
Ever painfully aroused torture.
Taste, touch, salty sea smell
Delicately drifting in front of a screaming mouth
Like finger tips moist from sweet wet kisses
Brushing soft against wanting lips.
Demonic desire, rising from smoky solitude,
Beckoning seductive, with paralyzing eyes
Tortured, still statuary, standing paces from ecstasy
Sentenced to life in a pirate's hell.
