 I painted this at the Rockport Fulton Beach while visiting my Mother-in-law. My daughters played at the water's edge. They can be seen wearing the black and the blue bathing suits. This is one of my most favorite paintings. Like a portrait it has captured a definite moment in time. The sky was so blue that day, and as shown in the painting, there were several boaters, and people enjoying the warm air. This is painted in acrylic on canvas board. I used water from the ocean to rinse my brushes. The painting has an extra sheen due to the salt water.
